PM performs as Head of Steering Committee for Compilation and Publishing of the History of the Vietnamese Government

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on June 30 signed Decision No.1020/QD-TTg on consolidating members of the Steering Committee for Compilation and Publishing of the History of the Government of Vietnam for the 1945-2015 period, in which the Prime Minister is the Head of the Steering Committee, according to information from the Government Portal.

The decision states that the Steering Committee for Compilation and Publishing of the History of the Government of Vietnam for the 1945-2015 period consists of nine members, headed by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra is the Deputy Head and Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Trieu Van Cuong is the Secretary General of the Steering Committee.

The History of the Government of Vietnam is an official document aimed at introducing the Government and administration of Vietnam to international friends, serving the research, teaching and learning of people from all walks of life.

The Steering Committee for Compilation and Publishing of the History of the Government of Vietnam for the 1945-2015 period was established following Decision No. 97/QD-TTg dated January 21, 2015.

Accordingly, the Steering Committee is responsible for approving the outline, directing the organisation of research, compilation, appraisal and publication of the History of the Government of Vietnam (1945-2015). Relevant agencies, organisations and individuals are responsible for providing documents and information on the organisation and operation of the Government at the request of the Steering Committee.
