With the approval of the National Election Council, early voting will be organised at 11 polling areas within provincial armed forces units on March 14, one day ahead of the nationwide election scheduled for March 15.

In the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and members of People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term, voters in Dak Lak Province will elect 15 National Assembly deputies, 84 members of the provincial People’s Council, and 2,445 members of commune- and ward-level People’s Councils.

Speaking at the meeting, Thanh noted that the Politburo and the Secretariat had established inspection and supervision delegations to monitor election preparations in localities to ensure the successful organisation of the election. He emphasised that inspection and supervision are not only the responsibility of central working delegations but also a shared responsibility of local Party committees at all levels.

According to him, the highest goal is to ensure that the election is conducted safely, in full compliance with regulations, and truly becomes a nationwide festival of the people. Therefore, the communication work should be strengthened to create a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere among the public.
