According to a quick report from the commune’s Election Committee, election preparations in the area have been implemented seriously, on schedule, and in accordance with regulations. Work related to personnel arrangements, public information campaigns, security and order, traffic safety, social safety, and facility preparation has been carried out proactively by the local authorities.
During the inspection, the delegation checked the polling station as well as the area where lists of candidates are publicly posted for voters to review. The visit aims to ensure readiness for the election of deputies to the National Assembly for the 16th tenure and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term.
NA Vice Chairman Tran Quang Phuong acknowledged the efforts made and highly appreciated the locality’s preparations for the election. He also requested that local authorities proactively coordinate closely with relevant functional forces to develop and prepare contingency plans for possible situations so they can be handled promptly, ensuring that the election process is not affected.
Phuong also noted that the locality should study and arrange the posting of the voters’ list, as well as the list and biographies of candidates, in the most convenient locations so that voters can easily observe and access information. Entrance and exit routes should be arranged in a convenient manner for voters arriving to cast their ballots. Personnel should be assigned to guide and regulate the flow of voters and instruct them on how to vote in accordance with regulations. Contingency measures should also be prepared to assist elderly voters, people with disabilities and others in participating in the election.
Regarding the maintenance of security and public order, the locality should thoroughly review coordination plans among relevant forces, particularly ensuring close coordination between units. Authorities should proactively grasp the situation early and from afar, avoiding any passive or unexpected situations under all circumstances.
During the visit, the NA Vice Chairman and the working delegation also visited and presented gifts to encourage engineers and workers of Army Corps No.2 under the Ministry of National Defence of Viet Nam. This unit serves as the core force undertaking key national projects in Ca Mau Province, including the Ca Mau–Dat Mui Expressway and the transport route to Hon Khoai Island.
In discussions with the site command board and the construction teams, NA Vice Chairman Phuong highly valued the efforts and dedication of those who continue to work day and night along the coast and at the construction site to vigorously implement this key national project.
