The match between Vietnam and Qatar was the tournament’s final as both teams had earned six points after two victories. With a better goal difference, Qatar only needed a draw to win while Vietnam had to score three points in this match to bring home the championship.

Vietnam opened the scoring in the 8th minute thanks to Trong Thien's close range shot, and Luu Quynh Toan doubled the score for Vietnam in the 16th minute.

After the break, the Vietnamese team still held firm, despite waves of attacks from Qatar, and, in the 35th minute, Thanh Tuan scored their third goal.

In the remaining time, Rodrigo Rocha was only able to score a consolation goal for Qatar from the 9 metre penalty spot in the 36th minute.
