He shared that the difficulties and challenges brought about by COVID-19 have spotlighted the spirit of devotion to the motherland and other fine qualities of young people.
In his speech, President Phuc affirmed that the Party and State always pay special attention to young people and young talents.
The State leader expressed his delight at the Youth Union’s efforts to discover and nurture young talents so as to create high-quality human resources for the country.
President Phuc stated that the majority of recipients of the Outstanding Vietnam Young Faces Award are continuing to strive hard to make greater contributions, helping to cherish the glorious tradition of the Vietnamese youth.
He expected that with enormous enthusiasm and strong determination, young people will play their part in transforming Vietnam into a developed country with high income.
The State leader also called on ministries, localities, social organisations and enterprises to support the development of young people and promote the talents of young people for the future of the country.
