Running from October 1 to 7 in Ha Noi and Thanh Hoa Province, the programme forms part of the broader cultural, artistic, and tourism cooperation initiative between the two ministries for the 2021–2025 period.
This annual, alternating event seeks to deepen the special friendship between the two nations while introducing the Vietnamese public to the diverse heritage and unique cultural traditions of Laos.
Speaking at the ceremony, Lao Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism, Darany Phommavongsa, affirmed that the programme would help to strengthen the profound friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, States, and peoples of Laos and Viet Nam.
Echoing this sentiment, Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ho An Phong, highlighted the growing depth of bilateral cooperation, nurtured consistently by the leaders and citizens of both countries.
He expressed his delight at the tangible progress made in recent years across various sectors, noting that cultural, sports, and tourism exchanges have yielded meaningful outcomes and helped reinforce the foundation of traditional friendship.
