At the meeting, member of the Party Central Committee Nguyen Huu Dong informed the HCMA delegation about the situation of socio-economic development, national defence and security, foreign affairs, and Party building work in the nine months of 2022; as well as the political training of cadres in recent years.
The Son La Provincial Party Committee suggested the HCMA pay attention to creating conditions for Son La to cooperate with the Academy to open advanced classes in political theory and master's training programmes for cadres and civil servants in the political system of Son La.
Speaking at the meeting, Politburo member Nguyen Xuan Thang spoke highly of the organisation and implementation of the Party's guidelines that have been concretised by Son La Province with programmes and plans.
He also suggested that Son La Province continue to promote the positive results in agricultural development associated with tourism and environmental protection; and pay attention to developing specific plans on the fostering and training of cadres and improving the quality of training at the provincial political schools.
