This opinion about the new definition of office in the future was given by former Senior Partner of Merce Puneet Swani at The Make Over 2024 conference held in Ho Chi Minh City on October 15.

Opening his presentation themed “Southeast Asia’s Evolving Workforce: Decoding The New Way of Work”, Puneet Swani said Southeast Asia is considered one of the most dynamic workforce resources in the world and is also a region with rapid transformation in new working methods.

He also noted that the factors and trends that helped us succeed in the past will not guarantee our success in the future.

At the conference, Puneet Swani outlined six trends forming new ways of work that can support business leaders. They are “Artificial Intelligence (AI) generating job opportunities”, “embracing skills over degrees”, “DEI (Diversity, equity and inclusion) to become working methods”, “resolving employee conflicts – a new compulsory skill for managers”, “four-day workweek” and “the collapse of occupational stereotype as the workforce change”.

Organised by Talentnet Corporation, The Makeover 2024, with the theme "Foster Green Dynamics", featured the participation of more than 20 leading innovation strategists worldwide to discuss 12 topics on innovation and sustainable development in management strategy. The event attracted more than 1000 attendees, including business leaders and human resources experts from leading enterprises in Vietnam.
