The event is jointly held by the Suoi Tien Cultural Tourism Joint Stock Company, the Ho Chi Minh Municipal Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Municipal Department of Tourism, and the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organisations.

Taking place until August 31, the festival features a fruit market, a competition on fruit carving, and a food fair introducing 20 dishes made from fruits, and an exhibition themed ‘Suoi Tien – 30 years of development’.

Notably, visitors to the festival can explore a collection of premium and rare fruits which are grown at Suoi Tien Farm, following VietGap standard and organic farming methods.

The festival aims to advertise the diversity of fruits in the Southern region and other regions across the country while honouring the achievements of fruit growers.

It also seeks to promote Ho Chi Minh City’s tourism potential and advantages to visitors at home and abroad.
