Special art programme celebrates CPV’s 95th anniversary

A special art programme was held at Ho Guom Theatre on February 3 to celebrate the 95th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV). The event was directed by the Department of Party Affairs and Political Work under the Ministry of Public Security and attended by Party General Secretary To Lam.

The event also saw the presence of Politburo members: Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh; Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC’s Inspection Commission; Nguyen Xuan Thang, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA) and Chairman of the Central Theory Council; and General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security.

The programme featured musical pieces praising the CPV, President Ho Chi Minh and the nation.

In addition to songs expressing love for the homeland, the programme introduced the audience to compositions about spring — which is often regarded as the most beautiful season of the year, filled with joyful and romantic moments. The programme also featured "Voice of Spring" by the renowned composer J. Strauss, bringing a vibrant and lively depiction of spring to the audience.

The programme was carried out under the direction of Major General and People's Artist Nguyen Cong Bay, featuring renowned artists such as People's Artist Bui Cong Duy (violin), Meritorious Artist Khanh Ngoc, and singers Bao Yen, Trong Tan, Kim Long, and Viet Danh. The event also showcased performances by the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra, the People's Public Security Music and Dance Theatre, and the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet, under the baton of conductor Honna Tetsuji.
