The information page continues to realise the digital transformation strategy of Nhan Dan Newspaper, combining official information and data, with technology and creative ideas, to digitize especially valuable documents on Party building.

The ceremony was attended by members of the Party Central Committee: Le Quoc Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the PCC Commission for Communication and Education, and Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association; Do Tien Sy, General Director of the Voice of Vietnam; Nguyen Dinh Khang, the President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour; Nguyen Huu Nghia, Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee; along with leaders of central and local departments, ministries and branches; leaders of Nhan Dan Newspaper; senior journalists, as well as representatives of press agencies.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh said that Nguyen Van Linh, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, for the 1986-1991 tenure, paved the way and made great contributions to the country's Doi Moi (renewal) cause, with the spirit of innovation and resoluteness against negativity. The life and career of late Party leader Nguyen Van Linh has left many valuable lessons for the current cause of national construction and development.

Thirty-one articles by late Party General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh, under the pseudonym N.V.L, in the column titled “Things to be done now” of Nhan Dan Newspaper (first published on May 25, 1987, and the last dating September 28, 1990), severely criticised negative actions in society, including those in the management and leadership apparatus, which shocked public opinion in the early Doi Moi period.

His articles have created momentum for strong changes in society towards democratisation, encouraging the press to participate more actively and strongly on the anti-negative front.

In the coming time, Nhan Dan Newspaper will continue to add content and complete new features of the site, to bring domestic and foreign readers comprehensive, intuitive and vivid information.

Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh suggested that press agencies accompany Nhan Dan Newspaper to step up communication and promote the "Talk the talk, walk the walk" movement in the new situation, and successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam’s efforts, to bring the country to a prosperous and sustainable development.

Speaking at the ceremony, Tran Thanh Lam, Deputy Head of the PCC's Commission for Communication and Education, highly appreciated the political responsibility of Nhan Dan Newspaper when building the Information page of General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh and “Things to be done now”, based on modern journalism application.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ngo Minh Tuan, Editor-in-Chief of the Xay Dung Dang (Party Building) Magazine, highly appreciated the creativity and new perspective of Nhan Dan Newspaper, when organising the construction of information pages, which is now the third page on Party building. He emphasised that launching a page about the late General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh is the correct choice.

Right following the launching ceremony, a seminar themed “Party General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh and Things to be done now” was held, aiming to analyse and evaluate the spirit of innovation and creativity and the resoluteness against negative phenomena while spotlighting the combativeness of his articles published on Nhan Dan Newspaper and their importance for the cause of national construction and development and Party building.
