According to the socio-economic report for October and the first ten months of 2025, as released by the General Statistics Office of Viet Nam (Ministry of Finance) on November 6, Viet Nam’s agricultural, forestry, and fishery production continued to maintain a stable trajectory despite difficulties caused by consecutive storms and flooding, particularly in October.

Party General Secretary To Lam on October 16 visited the northern province of Thai Nguyen to inspect its recovery efforts following Storm Matmo and subsequent flooding, and to present gifts to local households affected by the disaster.

According to the General Statistics Office under the Ministry of Finance, agricultural production nationwide continued to maintain stability in the first eight months of 2025.

The People's Committee of Nghe An Province, on August 6, in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the Viet Nam Gardening Association, held the forum “Agricultural production and consumption connection in the North Central Provinces”.

While several agricultural production models in Viet Nam have proactively adopted scientific and technological advancements, many research outcomes remain "locked away" in laboratories due to a lack of mechanisms for technology transfer, risk-sharing, and an appropriate legal framework.

According to the General Statistics Office (under the Ministry of Finance), agricultural production in May and the first five months of 2025 maintained stable growth across agriculture, forestry, and fisheries.
