The third Russia-Africa Summit, currently taking place in Moscow, is attended by leaders and senior officials from around 50 African countries.

Secretary of the Ha Noi Party Committee Tran Duc Thang and a delegation of the capital city have undertaken a series of bilateral diplomatic activities to deepen practical cooperation with Moscow, Russia’s Republic of Tatarstan and Saint Petersburg, focusing on urban infrastructure, science and technology, digital transformation and investment attraction.

Da Nang welcomed the first direct flight connecting Moscow and the central city on May 23, marking the restoration of a direct air link between the two destinations after several years and signalling stronger tourism connectivity with Russia, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Belarus.

Dr of Science Phan Xuan Dung, President of the Viet Nam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), has been awarded the title of honorary professor by the Moscow Power Engineering Institute (MPEI).

The Viet Nam Culture Festival will be held in Moscow for the first time from July 25 to August 3, according to the official website of the Moscow City Administration.
