General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of National Defence, on April 30 visited the families of late leaders of the Party, State, and Army on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

On the evening of April 30, large crowds gathered in the central area of Ho Chi Minh City to enjoy dazzling firework displays marking the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (1975 –  2026).

The Vietnamese Embassy in the US on April 25 hosted a cultural event marking the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day, alongside celebrations of national reunification day (April 30) and International Labour Day (May 1).

Ho Chi Minh City will host the National Reunification Festival to commemorate the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – 2026), under a plan approved by the municipal People’s Committee.
