On the evening of April 30, large crowds gathered in the central area of Ho Chi Minh City to enjoy dazzling firework displays marking the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (1975 – 2026).

For this year's commemoration, the city organised displays at three high-altitude fireworks sites and five low-altitude sites, spread evenly across the expanded municipality.
