Comrade Ho Tung Mau made significant contributions to the Vietnamese revolution. His life and career left enduring values of courage and responsibility for younger generations to follow. In his homeland, Quynh Anh Commune, Nghe An Province, the local authorities and people have upheld revolutionary traditions and achieved encouraging results, further affirming the vitality of the ideals, determination and spirit of service cultivated by Comrade Ho Tung Mau and his predecessors.

In recent years, the border external relations work of the Nghe An Provincial Border Guard has achieved many significant and outstanding results. Implemented through diverse and flexible forms, these efforts have contributed to strengthening the friendship between Viet Nam and Laos, while helping to build a peaceful, stable, and sustainably developing border.

More than 3,600 cartons of bottled water were delivered on July 29 to residents in storm-affected communes of Huu Kiem, Tam Thai and Tuong Duong, in Nghe An Province.
