About 1,000 guests attended a Lunar New Year celebration hosted by the Vietnamese Embassy in France in coordination with the Paris authorities at the City Hall on February 13.

The Vietnamese Film Week in Paris officially came to a close on December 12 evening with a special highlight as ‘Red Rain’ - a film that once set box-office records in Viet Nam and represented the country in the race for the Academy Awards - was screened at Pathé Palace, a venue closely associated with the origins of world cinema.

At the 2025 2025 Festival of Humanity held in the suburbs of Paris from September 12 to 14, numerous French and international friends extended congratulations and expressed admiration for the great achievements of the Vietnamese people in the 80-year journey of struggle for independence, freedom, and national reunification, as well as development and international integration.

Vietnamese expatriates, monks and Buddhists along with French friends held a ceremony to mark the Buddhist Vu Lan Festival at Truc Lam Zen Monastery on the outskirts of Paris, France, on September 4.
