The 9th National Congress of the Viet Nam Farmers’ Union (VNFU) for the 2026–2031 term is being held at the National Convention Centre in Ha Noi on June 7–8.

Many cooperatives and enterprises have formed linkages with farming households to expand production, business, and services, thereby increasing revenue and profits. However, for these linkage chains to operate effectively, clear strategies and concrete action programmes are required to enable the collective economy and the private sector to develop sustainably.

Outstanding farmers and agricultural scientists of 2025 were honoured at a ceremony held in Ha Noi on October 14, in celebration of the 95th founding anniversary of the Viet Nam Farmers’ Union (October 14, 1930–2025).
