According to the Ministry of Finance, state budget revenue in the first nine months of 2025 was estimated at 1,887.9 trillion VND, up 27.9% year-on-year and equivalent to 96% of the annual estimate. While domestic revenue and import–export revenue maintained positive momentum, disbursement of development investment spending remained sluggish, reaching only 53.7% of the plan.
According to the latest statistics, the total State Budget revenue in September 2025, managed by tax authorities, was estimated at 117.6 billion VND, reaching 6.8% of the set target and equivalent to 118.8% of the same period last year.
Viet Nam’s state budget revenue from import-export activities reached over 261.37 trillion (9.97 billion USD) in the first seven months of 2025, equivalent to 63.6% of the annual estimate and 55.6% of the targeted goal, marking a 9.1% increase year-on-year, the Department of Customs reported.
Viet Nam’s state budget revenue soared to over 1.572 quadrillion VND (60.4 billion USD) in the first seven months of 2025, hitting 79.9% of the annual target and jumping 27.4% year-on-year, according to the Ministry of Finance.
The total state budget revenue in Ha Noi for the first half of 2025 is estimated at 392.1 trillion VND, fulfilling 76.3% of the annual target and marking a 51.4% increase compared to the same period in 2024. The city is actively implementing a wide range of measures to successfully accomplish this year’s budget revenue targets.
State budget revenue from import and export activities in the first half of 2025 reached nearly 222.75 trillion VND (8.5 billion USD), equivalent to 54.2% of the annual target and representing a 10.3% increase, or 20.87 trillion VND, compared to the same period in 2024, the Department of Viet Nam Customs reported on July 3.
