Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung on November 25 received Yamamoto Ichita, Governor of Japan’s Gunma prefecture, who is in Viet Nam to attend the first Viet Nam–Japan Local Cooperation Forum.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on November 25 had separate meetings with representatives from Gunma prefecture and the Japan-Viet Nam Parliamentary Friendship Alliance (JVPFA), and a delegation of Japanese local officials, who are in Viet Nam to attend the Viet Nam–Japan Local Cooperation Forum in Quang Ninh province.
