National Day holiday provides boost for domestic tourism

Ca Mau launches major projects marking 80th National Day

Three major projects have been launched in Ca Mau Province to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam (September 2). They include the Ca Mau–Dat Mui Expressway, the upgrade of Ca Mau Airport, and a social housing project worth over 1 trillion VND.

Large lacquer painting “President Ho Chi Minh Reads the Declaration of Independence” sets Guinness World Record

Guinness World Records on September 4 officially recognised the large lacquer painting “President Ho Chi Minh Reads the Declaration of Independence” by artist Chu Nhat Quang as the world’s largest single-panel lacquer painting (non-assembled). The work is currently on display at the Ho Chi Minh Museum (Ha Noi) as part of the exhibition “Spring of Independence.”
