The exhibition was organised to mark the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945–August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam (September 2, 1945–September 2, 2025). Not only taking place at the National Exhibition and Fair Centre in Ha Noi, the event is also presented digitally at https://dangcongsan.nhandan.vn/trienlamso.htm
. This is the first-ever 3D virtual exhibition on the Party’s history introduced to the public.
To bring audiences a sense of reality as though attending in person, the content of the digital exhibition is expressed through various forms.
LED screens presenting images, data, historical documents
LED screens are one of the attractive methods used across different spaces of the exhibition. At the very beginning of the digital experience, upon entering Zone 1, visitors encounter prominently placed LED screens.

Zone 1 introduces two major historical periods: the birth of the Communist Party of Viet Nam – a great turning point in the history of the Vietnamese revolution, and the period 1930–1945 when the Party led the struggle to seize power and established the Democratic Republic of Viet Nam, opening the era of “National independence linked with socialism.” Thanks to this modern presentation method, viewers are immersed in the revolutionary flow from the very first moments of the experience.
Interacting with valuable historical relics
At the digital event, history becomes more approachable as visitors not only observe but can also “touch” the past through interactive displays. Here, visitors can interact with valuable historical relics from the National Museum of History in a virtual space thanks to 3D scanning technology, viewing digital versions and information about President Ho Chi Minh’s Testament, the wreckage of a B52 aircraft shot down over Ha Noi, the Party’s first newspapers such as Cuu Quoc, Nhan Dan, Co Giai Phong, as well as oil paintings recreating the 1930 Party Founding Congress.
This interactive method gives visitors the feeling of standing right before the artefacts. It also serves as a “bridge” helping today’s younger generation to better understand historical values and foster pride in the nation’s journey.
Interactive mapping book
The interactive mapping book is another vivid presentation at the digital exhibition. When “stopping by” the interactive book, visitors access systematically presented, visually engaging information.

By moving and clicking, the digital pages open, introducing documents, images, and texts about Party Congresses. These are golden pages of history, presented in an e-book format summarising the content of each National Party Congress and the Party’s major policies and decisions in each period. Through this, the development of the Communist Party of Viet Nam’s thought, vision, and leadership role is affirmed.
Light effects
In many exhibition corners, light effects are vividly displayed, creating visual highlights for the exhibition space. Most strikingly, when moving to spaces 4, 5, and 6, visitors admire glowing light effects outlining the Hammer and Sickle symbol.

The Party flag, with the golden Hammer and Sickle on a red background, is a source of spiritual strength, a flame fuelling the will to fight and sacrifice for independence. Combined with lighting effects, the Hammer and Sickle symbol becomes even more vivid, stirring pride and strengthening the resolve of present and future generations.
Multi-sensory experience room
The journey through the exhibition concludes in Zone 8. Visitors step into a multi-sensory experience room. In this space, images and documents about President Ho Chi Minh and historical records are vividly displayed alongside sound, allowing participants to feel the sacredness and deep emotions as though living in the stream of history.

Applying modern technology, the 3D virtual exhibition creates a vibrant, experiential historical space in the digital platform, making it easier for young people to engage with and take pride in their country. In addition to the above forms, the digital exhibition also presents many diverse expressions, creating a seamless and captivating journey through history. The exhibition is ongoing, offering an opportunity for everyone, wherever they are, to look back at 95 glorious years of the Communist Party of Viet Nam.
