According to statistics from the Viet Nam Exhibition Centre (VEC), August 28 (the opening day) saw over 230,000 visitors; August 29 nearly 300,000; and August 30 more than 650,000.
To accommodate the huge crowds, the organisers have simultaneously deployed multiple services to ensure a convenient and civilised visitor experience. The system includes 20 bus routes connecting locations across the city; two free internal electric bus routes; and 925 toilets located both indoors and outdoors, with designated facilities for people with disabilities.
The food court has been organised scientifically with two outdoor sections in the North and West squares (114 kiosks), four indoor sections in the lobbies of the 2nd, 3rd, 6th, and 7th floors of the Kim Quy building, along with additional kiosks. In addition, there are 12 information counters, a system of signboards across the premises, free information booklets (also available online), and a digital Digimap system providing navigation and directions.
Alongside support services for the public and visitors, the exhibition features an average of 100 events and diverse experiential activities daily.
Highlights among the activities held at the exhibition include high-altitude firework displays (on August 28, September 2 and September 5), robot demonstrations, culinary shows, hot air balloon rides, kite performances, traditional handicraft demonstrations, and impressive art performances coordinated by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism together with 34 provinces and cities.
More than 200 display areas also host thematic workshops, interactive programmes, and gift-giving activities to enhance public engagement.
With the active participation of nearly 2,000 receptionists and volunteers working closely with the coordination force of VEC, the exhibition has created a united front, reflecting the spirit of solidarity and consensus of the entire people in a major political and cultural event of national significance.
