The exhibition is part of a series of activities organised by Hue City’s Department of Culture and Sports to mark the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, and 57 years since the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh’s Testament.
On display are more than 250 valuable documents, photographs and artefacts that capture pivotal moments in the building and defence of the revolutionary government, as well as preparations for the nationwide resistance war against the French.
The exhibits are arranged into four main themes: President Ho Chi Minh and the building and defence of the revolutionary government; President Ho Chi Minh on the diplomatic front; Nationwide Resistance War – a major turning point in the Vietnamese revolution; and Hue in the cause of construction and development.
The exhibition offers the public, particularly younger generations, an opportunity to gain deeper insight into a decisive phase in the early years of independent Viet Nam.
It also serves as an occasion to honour the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh and earlier generations, to take pride in the nation’s revolutionary journey, and to reflect on the country’s achievements in renewal and international integration.
The exhibition runs until December 31, 2026 at the Ho Chi Minh Museum, 7 Le Loi Street, Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue City.
