This year’s festival drew the participation of 15 teams with 400 racers from 15 communes and wards throughout the city. Each team was requested to complete a 5-km race on Lo River.
After fierce competitions under the enthusiastic cheers of the audience, the team of Minh Xuan Ward finished first, followed by the teams from Luong Vuong Commune and Tan Ha Ward.
The boat racing festival on Lo River illustrated the sportsmanship spirit and aspiration to conquer the rivers of people in Tuyen Quang. It also helps to tighten solidarity in the community and creates a highlight for local tourism in recent years.
