Vietnamese audience to explore Thailand through Thai Festival 2025

The Thai Festival 2025, themed "The Pulse of Tradition," will take place from March 28 to 30 at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel. According to the Thai Embassy in Vietnam, the festival will feature an array of exciting activities, including a reenactment of the water-splashing festival, street food experiences, and outdoor movie screenings.

The festival offers free admission from 3 PM to 9 PM on March 28 and from 10 AM to 9 PM on March 29-30.

The Thai Festival in Hanoi embodies the rich cultural heritage of Thailand, offering visitors opportunities to experience Thai cuisine, participate in traditional craft workshops, and explore a bustling fair and exhibition area with over 50 booths showcasing food, creative designs, and health and beauty products from renowned Thai brands.

This year, Hanoi has been chosen as one of six major cities worldwide to host the Thai Festival, highlighting Thailand's creative economy while fostering connections between people through culture, tourism, and the arts.

Spectacular performances blending Thai tradition with modern creativity will offer audiences a unique musical experience in the heart of Hanoi.

The main stage of Thai Festival 2025 in Hanoi will feature traditional dances from various regions of Thailand, alongside performances by SISMA, a rising girl group representing the modern T-Pop wave.

The festival’s most anticipated highlights include a digital reenactment of the Loy Krathong Lantern Festival and a vibrant Songkran water-splashing event. Recognised by UNESCO, Songkran is one of Asia’s most dynamic and colourful festivals, celebrated with lively water battles.

Visitors can try on traditional Thai costumes and partake in a daily lucky draw, with a chance to win valuable prizes, including round-trip tickets to Thailand.

Movie lovers can enjoy special screenings of two blockbuster Thai films, including a romantic historical drama entitled "Love Destiny the Movie" and a thrilling comedy entitled "404 Run Run".

With the theme “The Pulse of Tradition,” Thai Festival 2025 brings a fresh perspective on Thailand’s creative economy—rooted in rich cultural heritage while embracing global development trends.
