[Video] Prime Minister to propose earlier pay rise to improve public sector living standards

Speaking at the National Assembly after two days of discussions, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said on October 30 that the Government would submit a plan to raise salaries earlier than the scheduled date of July 1, 2026, possibly starting from January 1, 2026, based on resource balance and National Assembly deputies’ opinions.
