The festival will feature two competition categories: music and dance. Performances will be live on stage with specific criteria for each discipline and level.
The 15 best acts will be selected to perform during the VIMAF 2025 Gala Night on the evening of December 13.
The festival is organised by the Viet Nam Cultural Industry Development Association (VCIDA) , the Viet Nam Institute of Art Education (VIA Education), and the Soul Institute of Arts (SIA).
Held in Viet Nam for the first time, VIMAF 2025 is expected to foster the development of the cultural industry in Viet Nam while opening a journey of connection where music, performing arts, and creative education converge with an international integration spirit. It is also an opportunity for Viet Nam to affirm its status as a new cultural and artistic destination in Asia.
According to People’s Artist Vuong Duy Bien, Chair of the VCIDA, VIMAF 2025 is not only an arts festival but also a launchpad — a place where young artistic talents are connected, inspired, and empowered to turn their passion into careers, elevating Viet Nam to the international stage.”
Within VIMAF 2025, there will be many side activities such as international workshops, contemporary cultural-artistic exchange programmes, and tours exploring Ho Chi Minh City’s culture.
