On the morning of August 9, the Ministry of Public Security of Viet Nam and the Japan Association for Health, Safety and Security jointly organised the 2025 World Police Music Festival.

The event is among an array of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, the 80th anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnamese People’s Public Security forces (August 19, 1945 –2025), and the 20th anniversary of the All-People’s Festival for National Security Protection.

In his opening speech, Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, Deputy Minister of Public Security and head of the organising committee of the 2025 World Police Music Festival in Viet Nam, emphasised that this event is an opportunity to promote the image of Viet Nam and its people internationally, demonstrating Viet Nam’s spirit of being a reliable friend, partner, and responsible member of the global community.

The festival attracts the participation of music and drum troupes from Russia, Japan, China, Laos, Cambodia, Saudi Arabia, and host country Viet Nam.

The festival not only offers audiences spectacular artistic performances but also creates opportunities for international visitors and Vietnamese citizens to come closer to, better understand, and strengthen ties with law enforcement officers — those who dedicate themselves to maintaining peace, ensuring security and order for the peaceful and happy lives of the people.

Immediately following the opening ceremony was a special performance within the framework of the festival featuring music troupes from the Vietnamese People’s Public Security, the People’s Army, and international delegations.

Additionally, there were performances by specialised vehicles and motorcycles from the Guard Force and the Traffic Police, along with a cavalry unit from the Mobile Police Command.
