The five-day meeting, organised by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), focused on tightening international standards and charting the final stretch toward the 2027 World Anti-Doping Code.

In his keynote, WADA President Witold Bańka declared that sport’s true worth lies in integrity and fairness rather than medals and called for unified global action against escalating risks from new technologies, black market substances, and cross-border organised crime.

The revised 2027 Code is being shaped by over 5,000 submissions from stakeholders worldwide, plus direct feedback from 600 athletes across 60 countries and 70 disciplines.
