In his opening speech, Deputy Chairman of Da Nang People’s Committee Tran Chi Cuong emphasised that the festival not only marks the beginning of a new development era following Da Nang City’s merger with Quang Nam Province, but also opens broad prospects for cooperation between the new Da Nang and Korean localities and partners.

During the three-day festival, over 80 organisations, businesses, and institutions are displaying signature products of both Viet Nam and the RoK, contributing to a diverse and vibrant festival atmosphere.

The festival also expanded its scope with various activities ranging from bilateral cooperation meetings, investment and trade forums, cultural and arts performances, to sports and culinary showcases.

Notably, the festival for the first time hosted the “Meet Korea in Da Nang” conference, offering a platform for dialogue, showcasing Da Nang as a gateway for Korean businesses to access central Viet Nam and highlighting the shared potential for future collaboration in trade, investment, and sustainable development.

At the opening ceremony, Da Nang City awarded the city’s one millionth Korean visitor of 2025, alongside the 999,999th and 1,000,001st visitors, reflecting a record milestone for Da Nang’s RoK tourism market within the first seven months of the year.
