In addition, passengers can choose to fly Vietjet in Business and SkyBoss classes – Wings for Leaders, where every journey is elevated with attentive service, refined cuisine, and a complete flying experience.

“This is an important milestone in Vietjet's strategy to become a global aviation group. With a new-generation fleet, modern technology, and a continuously expanding network, Vietjet will soon operate many more routes to Europe, enabling passengers to conveniently connect between Europe, Australia, and Asia-Pacific to destinations across Viet Nam and Thailand. With Vietjet, Europe is now closer than ever. We offer opportunities to fly more affordable fares than ever before alongside quality, world-class service — strongly boosting demand for visiting relatives, tourism, and economic and cultural exchange between the two regions,” shared Nguyen Thanh Son, CEO of Vietjet.

“Viet Nam is the most significant market in the Southeast Asian region in terms of passenger numbers. In 2025, more than 75,000 people travelled between Prague and Ha Noi in both directions. The new connection will make travel easier for the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic and their families. At the same time, we expect growth in tourism and greater accessibility of Viet Nam for Czech travellers. Equally important is the strengthening of trade relations between the Czech Republic and Viet Nam. Viet Nam also represents a major gateway to Southeast Asia, and we anticipate that the route will also be used for cargo transport,” said Jiří Pos, CEO of Prague Airport.

“An air connection between Prague and Ha Noi is essential for inbound tourism to the Czech Republic. Viet Nam is among the markets with great potential — not only in its own right, but also as a transit point for other Southeast Asian countries. Accessibility plays an important role in travellers' decisions about their trips. The new route will therefore significantly facilitate travel to the Czech Republic, support arrivals from Southeast Asia, and open up further opportunities for the development of tourism and trade relations,” added František Reismüller, CEO of CzechTourism.

Overview of Prague

Prague is known as the “Golden City” or the “City of a Hundred Spires,” famous for its historic Gothic and Baroque architecture. Ha Noi is a destination rich in Vietnamese cultural identity and a hub connecting international travellers to well-known cultural, historical, and natural heritage sites across Viet Nam. Almaty (Kazakhstan) is notable for its striking natural scenery at the foot of the Trans-Ili Alatau mountains. The new route is expected to offer passengers a diverse experience throughout the journey.

Vietjet passengers will enjoy a comfortable flight on a modern fleet with a professional and dedicated crew, along with a menu of freshly prepared hot meals reflecting Vietnamese cuisine — such as Pho Thin and Banh Mi — as well as a selection of international dishes.
