Evaluated against rigorous Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria by a Panel of Judges comprising reputable experts and business leaders from Viet Nam and abroad, the recognition acknowledges Vietjet’s effectiveness in environmental protection and sustainable development initiatives. Top 50 CSA is an annual ranking that honors outstanding enterprises for implementing sustainable development strategies, committing to green growth, and fulfilling corporate social responsibility. Alongside Vietjet, this year’s ranking features leading companies in Viet Nam’s economy, including FPT, Masan Group, and Mobile World, etc.
As a pioneer in the aviation industry’s green transition, Vietjet leverages digital technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize operations, enhance operational efficiency, and reduce fuel consumption. The airline continuously invests in a new-generation fleet capable of reducing fuel consumption by up to 20% and cutting emissions by up to 38% compared to older aircraft models. At the same time, it actively researches, collaborates on the development of, and deploys Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), gradually advancing its commitment to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050 in line with the shared direction of countries worldwide.
Alongside its environmental initiatives, Vietjet has built a multicultural and inclusive workplace with more than 9,000 employees from 66 countries and territories. Women account for 43.55% of the airline’s workforce and nearly 30% of management positions. Vietjet also makes significant investments in talent development through the Vietjet Aviation Academy, which meets European Union Aviation Safety Agency’s standards and provides training programs for an average of 50,000 trainees annually, serving the training needs of pilots, cabin crews, engineers, flight dispatchers, and other aviation professionals for both the airline and the broader regional aviation industry.
