Vietnam-Russia cultural exchange held in Da Nang City

The Vietnam - Russia Cultural Exchange Programme was held at APEC Park in the central city of Da Nang on November 26, attracting nearly 500 delegates, people , and Russian friends who are living, working , and studying in the city and neighbouring localities.

The programme featured numerous art performances by Russian and Vietnamese artists, students learning Russian, and members of the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association.

The visitors and people had a chance to enjoy typical dishes of Russia and Da Nang as well as purchase many products from Russia such as souvenirs, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals along with essential necessities and services from Da Nang.

In 2023, Vietnam and Russia celebrate the 100th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's first arrival in the city of Petrograd (now Saint Petersburg), the cradle of the great Russian October Revolution (June 30, 1923 – 2023).

Ho Ky Minh, Standing Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People’s Committee, said the programme is a testament to the love for Russia and a beautiful symbol of the long-standing Vietnam-Japan friendship.

The exchange programme contributes to deepening the long-standing friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Russia in general, especially thefriendship and development cooperation between the people of Da Nang City and the Russian people.
