The year 2025 marks the 15th anniversary of the Tastin’France program in Vietnam, an event organised to foster partnerships and business relations between the two countries in the beverage and food sectors.
According to the French Embassy in Vietnam, this year’s annual wine-tasting event will take place at the Grand Mercure Hotel in Hanoi on April 2, followed by another session at the Caravelle Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City on April 3.
This event provides an opportunity for 35 leading French wine businesses to showcase their wines and spirits to enthusiasts and those interested in French wine. Featured products will come from France’s most prestigious wine regions, including Champagne, Burgundy, the Loire Valley, the Rhône Valley, Languedoc, Bordeaux, Alsace, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, and Hauts-de-France.
The presence of numerous renowned French wine producers and brands at this year’s Tastin’France event highlights the strong interest of French companies in the Vietnamese market.
Since the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) came into effect in 2020, Business France Vietnam has actively promoted and facilitated business connections to introduce French agricultural and food products to Vietnam.
The growth of the middle and upper classes in Vietnam has contributed to an increase in imported wine consumption, creating opportunities for French alcoholic beverage businesses.
Vietnam's alcoholic beverage market remains one of the most dynamic in Asia. France continues to hold a key position in the Vietnamese market and is the leading wine supplier in terms of value, thanks to its products’ reputation, quality, and prestige.
