The event has been organised by the Swiss Embassy to mark the occasion of International Francophonie Day 2025.
According to the Embassy of Switzerland in Vietnam, the Swiss pop duo’s performance will be part of their tours to Hong Kong (China) and Macau (China), Myanmar, Vietnam, and Laos.
During their stay in the Vietnamese capital, the two artists also took part in a workshop with the participation of students of the Vietnam National Academy of Music on March 27.
Originally born in Switzerland before being raised in Singapore and New York, leading vocalist Sophie has travelled to over 40 countries in her career so far, with her rich experiences being reflected in her music.
She met multi-instrumentalist and music producer Simon Jaccard in 2006 and they launched the group Sophie de Quay.
To date, they have toured together around the world and have more than 300 concerts to their credit.
