Participating Vietnamese enterprises sent video clips and brochures on their products to the organising board to be displayed at the Vietnam's booth in ROK. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, information on enterprises and products are being showcased online during the 16-day event.
The event is held by the ASEAN Korea Centre in conjunction with the “BIOPlus-Interphex Korea 2021”, one of the largest pharmaceutical and biotech conferences in Korea, to provide a venue to facilitate business exchange and cooperation between ASEAN and the ROK in the bio industry.
The event aims to share bio-policy roadmaps and bio-industry trends of ASEAN and the ROK, encourage ASEAN and ROK business partnerships in the pharmaceutical-biological and healthcare industries, and establish a platform for ASEAN and ROK stakeholders to seek new business opportunities.
The Vietnam Centre of Science and Technology Application and Startup selected eight startup enterprises based on their scientific research results in the field of biopharmaceuticals to attend the ‘ASEAN – Korea Bio Partnering Week’.
This year’s event attracted the participation of nearly 300 companies and more than 20 universities and scientific research centres from the ROK, Germany, Israel, France, Canada, the US and some ASEAN countries such as Singapore, Brunei, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
