To further establish cooperation in security and law enforcement as a key pillar of the overall Viet Nam–Iran relationship, Minister Luong Tam Quang proposed that the ambassador continue to facilitate exchanges of delegations at all levels to explore cooperation needs and potential, particularly in combating crime.

He also called for the effective implementation of existing bilateral agreements, including the Extradition Treaty, the Treaty on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons, and the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between Viet Nam's Ministry of Public Security and Iran's Ministry of Interior and Law Enforcement Command.

The minister also urged the Iranian side to strengthen information exchange and share intelligence on international terrorism, drug trafficking, and transnational organised crime that could pose risks to Viet Nam's security and public safety.

Ambassador Akbar Ghasemi Ali Abadi affirmed his commitment to promoting bilateral cooperation, thereby contributing to the continued development of the Viet Nam–Iran partnership in a deeper, more effective, and more substantive manner, in line with the shared interests of both countries.
