The books were arranged in seven categories including research, education, economics, management, literature, children's books and new discoveries.
Each category honours the best original Vietnamese literary work or translation to Vietnamese from other languages.
At the awards ceremony, the organising board also announced its selection of the 40 best children’s books, which were recommended by writers and literary critics for their interesting content and educational meaning.
The Good Book Awards have been held annually since 2011 to honour writers and translators, introduce good books to readers and cultivate a reading culture in society.
