The top ten outstanding Vietnamese women with their start-up projects were announced at the ceremony. They will be provided with courses on business knowledge and initial capital support to pursue their dream of business start-ups.

Bui Kim Ngan, founder of a jeans recycling facility — one of the 10 projects receiving support, said the support from the programme has helped her in promoting long-term development of her jeans recycling project, thus bringing practical values to society.

Ly Thi Quyen, director of Thien An Cooperative in Bac Kan Province, was also honoured for the project “Developing products based on preserving national culture”.

The programme has been launched in 32 provinces and cities nationwide since 2020, helping enhancing knowledge for more than 100,000 women and providing funding for hundreds of typical business initiatives.

The programme in 2024 will begin to offer training courses for women from November 2023. Vietnamese women nationwide can register to attend free courses through the Vietnam Women's Academy website.
