The event was part of Hanoi’s plan on participating in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in 2025. The workshop provided a unique experiential space where visitors can explore and directly participate in traditional creative activities such as Vietnamese and Japanese calligraphy, Origami - a traditional Japanese art, or tea ceremonies.

Additionally, the public will learn about Yen Thai traditional handmade paper craft - part of Vietnam's cultural heritage - through exhibits from the Hanoi Museum and creative products from Zo Project.

Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa, Director of the Hanoi Creative Activities Coordination Centre, said that through this activity, the centre aims to encourage creative community groups to participate in promoting traditional cultural values, developing creative cultural products, enhancing the cultural and spiritual life, and contributing to urban revitalisation while promoting Hanoi's image to international friends.
