2016 Vietnam Cycle opens

The Vietnam International Bicycle Exhibition - Vietnam Cycle 2016 opened at the Hanoi International Exhibition Centre, No.91 Tran Hung Dao Street, Hanoi, on November 17.

The event features 150 booths of 50 major manufacturers from the US, France, Italy, Japan, republic of Korea, Taiwan (China), China and Vietnam.

The companies have brought along their products, including sport bikes, climbing bikes, fashion bikes, bicycles for children, bicycle components and bicycle accessories, with well-known brand names such as Gitane, Dahon, Bianchi, Basso, Peugeot, Definitive, Cannondale, Giant, Merida, LauX, Galaxy, Phoenix, Thong Nhat, Bamboo Bike, Viet Long and Vixeha.

In addition, the event also showcase electric bicycles, including brands such as Vina, Lyvina, Keton, Nimbus Bike.

The exhibition promises to open-up opportunities for trade linkage, franchise contracts and seeking distributors. It is also an opportunity to highlight the bicycle sector, which is a driving force in the booming trend of riding bicycles and promoting green energy in big cities today.

Vietnam Cycle 2016 is organised by Vinexad and the Viet Nam Auto Motorcycle Bicycle Association (VAMOBA), under the patronage of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and in collaboration with the National Traffic Safety Committee.

The exhibition will run until November 19.

Using bicycles in daily life has recently become a trend in Vietnam and with the size of the younger population, Vietnam holds large potential in the market.
