In the road and railway transport sector, projects launched include grade-separated interchanges at Le Hong Phong–Nguyen Trai, Bui Vien–Le Hong Phong, and Bui Vien–Vo Nguyen Giap, as well as the investment project for connecting infrastructure at Hai Duong South Station (part of the Lao Cai–Ha Noi–Hai Phong railway project).
n the industrial and commercial sector, projects launched include a logistics service centre and petroleum port in Nguyen Dai Nang Ward; the Luong Dien–Ngoc Lien Industrial Park; and the An Tho, An Phu and Dung Tien–Giang Bien industrial clusters.
In the urban development and housing sector, ground-breaking ceremonies were held for a 41-storey mixed-use building project in the Bac Song Cam urban area and a housing project in the Le Lai Street area, Ngo Quyen Ward.
In the healthcare and social security sector, projects launched include the construction of new functional building blocks of Hai Duong General Hospital, and the inauguration of the social housing project under the Trang Due Urban Area–Commercial Services and Workers’ Housing Project.
According to Hai Phong City People’s Committee Chairman Le Ngoc Chau, these works are of great significance, contributing to the completion of infrastructure, expansion of development space, creation of more jobs, promotion of economic growth, assurance of social security, and gradual improvement of people’s quality of life.
Hai Phong City People’s Committee Chairman Le Ngoc Chau also said that the projects launched and inaugurated today, together with other key works and projects currently being implemented by the city, are vivid proof of Hai Phong’s aspiration to rise. They also form a solid foundation for building Hai Phong into a modern, civilised, ecological and liveable industrial port city with regional stature; a pioneer in building a socialist model associated with socialist people; and a contributor to helping Hai Phong, together with the whole country, confidently enter a new era of national development.
