The dead were cremated and buried in jars, accompanied by many offerings decorated with unique and sophisticated patterns.

According to Doctor of Archeology Doan Ngoc Khoi from the Quang Ngai provincial Museum, this is the first time such artifacts, which are believed to come from the period before the Sa Huynh culture that flourished between 1000 BC and AD 200, have been uncovered in the mountainous region of Quang Ngai province. They are usually found in delta and coastal areas.
