With the theme "Hearts Meet, Dreams Shine", the opening ceremony lasted more than 80 minutes, through art performances revolving around the image of the osmanthus, Hangzhou City's official flower, combined with sound and light technology to send best wishes to disabled athletes.
Within the opening ceremony, performances and the flame lighting ceremony praised resilience, the spirit of overcoming difficulties, and actively rising up in life.
