Secretary of Binh Lieu District Party Committee Nguyen Thi Tuyet Hanh said this is Binh Lieu’s fourth year organising the Culture-Tourism Week and Yellow Season Festival to promote and honour the cultural and tourism products of Binh Lieu as well as Quang Ninh in general.
The event has also made great contributions to the preservation and promotion of traditional cultural values of the district as well as to the aim of welcoming 150,000 visitors to Binh Lieu in 2023.

The opening ceremony took place with the highlight of a unique three-part art programme that shows the unique cultural identities of ethnic groups in Binh Lieu District.
The performances aimed to introduce new tourism products and experiences, festivals, and cultural and sporting activities of ethnic minority groups in the district, including Tay, Dao and San Chi.

This year’s festival features various attractive cultural and sport activities from October to November such as new rice season festival of Tay ethnic people, the display of One Commune One Product (OCOP) and agricultural products, the experience of climbing and camping on Cao Xiem Mountain, the Women's Football Tournament of ethnic groups in Binh Lieu District, folk games, the showcase of ethnic minority groups’ costumes, taking check-in photos on terraced fields, a paragliding tournament, and a mountain climbing tournament.

The 2023 Culture-Tourism Week and the Binh Lieu Yellow Season Festival is also the message of a beautiful district with historical traditions and cultural identities as well as rustic and honesty locals that ethnic minority people in Binh Lieu District want to promote to visitors.
The event also aims to affirm Binh Lieu as a safe, friendly, and attractive destination in the Northeast of Quang Ninh Province.
