The event was co-organised by the Su That (Truth) National Political Publishing House and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
Youth union members and young people from across the country can enter the contest, which encourages entrants to write an essay about their thoughts about a publication on the life, revolutionary career, ethnics, and lifestyle of President Ho Chi Minh.
They should present in the entries lessons they have learnt from the publication and how the publication positively changes their lives.
The publications must be released by Vietnamese publishing houses.
A bookcase on ‘The Youth study and follow President Ho’s teachings’ was also debuted on the occasion.
The bookcase includes around 100 book titles on various topics, such as publications penned by President Ho, research works on the great leader, and writings about young exemplary models who have stood out in studying and following Uncle Ho’s teachings.
