It marked three major national milestones: the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 – February 3, 2025), the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025), and the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People’s Public Security Forces (August 19, 1945 – August 19, 2025).
The event was attended by Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo Member and Prime Minister of Vietnam, along with current and former Politburo Members.
“The memories left behind” served as a heartfelt tribute to the heroic achievements of the predecessors and the silent sacrifices of the security forces during the resistance wars. Through a richly layered narrative, the programme transported audiences into an immersive artistic space, highlighting the pinnacle of the people's war waged by the entire Party, military, and people. It evoked unforgettable memories from Tay Ninh and the Southern battlefields.
Meticulously staged, the performance combined elements of epic documentary theatre with an outdoor setting. It featured a fusion of cinematic visuals, music, dance, and modern performance technology. Approximately 500 professional performers participated, alongside 120 Tay Ninh public security officers, canine and cavalry units, and various military equipment - all contributing to a powerful and emotionally resonant artistic experience.
