Central Public Security Party Organisation wraps up 8th Congress for 2025-2030 term

The 8th Congress of the Central Public Security Party Organisation for the 2025-2030 tenure wrapped up in Hanoi on October 5 after three days of sitting.

The gathering adopted a political report and leadership review of the Central Public Security Party Committee for the 2020–2025 term. It also discussed the committee's documents and gave comments on draft documents for the 14th National Party Congress.

Delegates approved the congress’s resolution by a wide margin, detailing three primary goals, eight groups of tasks and solutions, and three strategic breakthroughs for 2025-2030.

They elected a delegation representing more than 67,000 Party members from the Central Public Security Party Organisation to attend the 14th National Party Congress.

In his closing speech, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security Gen. Luong Tam Quang called for the full implementation of the resolution and action plan, turning its goals into concrete results for ensuring public security.
