State President Truong Tan Sang sent a letter and flowers of congratulation for the occasion.
Addressing the ceremony, National Assembly Vice Chairman Uong Chu Luu praised the UCT’s outstanding achievements over the past 50 years.
He urged the university to continue promoting the Party Central Committee 4th Plenum, 11th tenure Resolution in its research and training. He also asked the UCT to continue researching and developing effective new ways to resolve urgent current issues in the transport sector.
Over the past 50 years, the UCT has overcome many difficulties to fulfill its assigned tasks and become Vietnam’s leading university in the field of transport.
